Apple has just posted its report for Q3,2012 and things are looking good for the Cupertino-based company. The revenue was $36 billion and the net profit stood at $8.2 billion, both of those comparing very favorably to the numbers from the same period of last year ($28.3 billion and $6.6 billion).
The iPhone sales were somewhat disappointing at 26.9 million units, compared to 35.1 million in Q2. The iPad shipments stood at 14 million units, compared to 17 million in the previous quarter, while Mac sales grew from 4 million to 4.9 million. Despite the refresh of the lineup, the iPod sales slid to 5.3 million units from 6.8 million in Q2.
Today Apple executed the UK's High Court order that ruled the company should acknowledge that Samsung didn't copy the iPad's design in its Galaxy Tab slates. The court order states that the text should be published in a font no smaller than Arial 11 and Apple has done just this.

The Apple iPad mini is now official. After the shockingly announcing of the iPad 4 and discontinue of the "New iPad", Many angry fans on twitter and facebook just bought the iPad 3 and only 6 months after, it gets canceled and replaced while the iPad 2 continues!

Apple just published the New iPad mini promo video on its YouTube channel. The smaller 7.9-inch tablet pack the same chipset and screen resolution of the iPad 2, but adds a 5MP rear camera and the new Lightning port. Apple has just revealed two New versions of the iPad, The iPad 4th Generation and the iPad mini. The iPad 4 has a New A6X chip same Retina display as the previous "New iPad" and the same design, Same battery life, Same Camera too. The only thing different is the A6X Quad-core chip with 2x more performance than the A5X.
The iPad mini has a n A5 ship and a 1024 x 764 screen resolution same as the iPad 2, but this time it has a 7.9" display instead of 9.7" with a smaller, lighter, thinner design than all the previous iPads.
Like all other Apps on the App store, Dropbox pushed a much needed update to their iOS app. The new version not only makes full use of the iPhone 5 taller screen, but also has done away with the previous photo size limitation when printing pics or saving them to the Camera Roll from the app.
The new update bring the application version to 1.5.6 and it's available now on iTunes. So, head there and Update your App, if you are an iOS user with an iPhone 5.
