By now, almost everyone knows about the rumors and expects the Galaxy S8 to come without the iconic Home button. A new rumor is even suggesting that the virtual Home button and navigation keys on the Galaxy S8's display will be pressure-sensitive in nature. What this means is that the soft keys will react differently to varying levels of pressure, much like the "3D Touch" or "Force Touch" technology which made its smartphone debut on the iPhone 6s. Additionally, the soft buttons will also be completely configurable.

As one can probably imagine, the physical Home button will be removed from the front of the Galaxy S8 in order to make room for the rumored bezel-less display. If you are wondering where the fingerprint scanner would end up, as it had traditionally been placed inside the Home button in Samsung phones, we are not exactly sure. There are two theories regarding this. One suggests that the fingerprint scanner will simply be moved to the back of the device, while the other disagrees. Some of the leaksters are of the opinion that the S8 will sport the waterproof, optic fingerprint scanner from Synaptics which will be placed behind the front glass of the phone's display. Which one would you like to see?

In a rumor that originated in China and was found on Weibo, it has been mentioned that the Galaxy S8 could be sporting a stylus, just like the Galaxy Note series. It goes as far as to claim that although planned initially as an integrated part of the phone, Samsung has since instead decided to sell the digital pen as an accessory. It cannot be denied that if some of the earlier rumors turn out to be true, then we could be looking at a 6-inch Galaxy S8 Plus with a nearly bezel-less display and that would certainly be more than enough space to use a S-Pen on. However, there is a logical contradiction to this theory/rumor.

According to an official report by Reuters around two months ago, the next Note is indeed coming. Unless Samsung has changed its decision and has decided to discontinue the Note line-up this year, I cannot see any logic behind launching the S8 with stylus support. The S-Pen is one of the main additions that had previously set the two flagships apart from each other and thus the name, "Note." What do you think? Would you like to see the S8 Plus with stylus support?

Whenever we hear the name "Samsung," we are reminded of electronic consumer products like televisions, smartphones, air-conditioners, etc. Skin care is probably the last thing that comes to mind! However, the tech giant is about to change that with what is to be the first of its skincare products; the Lumini.

A part of Samsung's experimental projects in the C-Labs, the Lumini is going to be unveiled at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The skin-scanner will photograph the user's face and then use the built-in skin-analytics software to determine the quality of the skin and the problems on it, before sending the information to a dedicated application on the user's smartphone. Along with the information, the app will also advise you on how to treat the problems found on your skin. You can even chat with a dermatologist via the app for a more professional and customized opinion on the matter.

The Lumini isn't the only skin care product coming out of the C-Labs though, because the S-Skin will be accompanying it. This one is a microneedle patch, armed with a skin-scanner and LED lights to keep the quality of your skin at optimum level through injection, hydration and enhanced absorption. Would you buy any of the experimental skin-care products from Samsung if it was available near you?
