A tool that all Samsung users has it installed on their computers, Samsung KIES, the Samsung's smartphone manager suite for PC and Mac, will get a major overhaul. According to confirmed reports, Samsung is planning on releasing a new version of its manager software - KIES 4 - with a completely new design to look similar to the company's TouchWiz Lollipop look with flat Material Design elements.
Samsung Kies 4 is expected to be available for download sometimes by the end of this year Q4,2015. So the Galaxy Note 5 will have a new computer buddy to play with very soon.
In terms of functionality, there's no information if Samsung will be adding new features to the software or just change it looks. Many users love Kies for its data backup skills and it's likely that the company plays it safe and just apply a refreshing coat of paint to the suite.
Samsung is holding the No.1 place of the global shipments in the Q2,2015. According to a TrendForce report that was released today. The Korean giant has a 26.8% of all the Q2 shipments, Apple comes in 2nd place with 16.4% thanks to the market demand for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Huawei lead the Chinese manufacturers (comes in 3rd place), with an overall market share of 7.6% and 18.3% among the Chinese OEMs. The company is expected to ship close to 100 million units this year.

Samsung has announced its Thinnest and Lightest tablet ever, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" and Galaxy Tab S2 8.0" today. The two variants are launching with Lollipop pre-installed and many other features, all the details revealed below.

Specs-wise, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display, packs in a 5870mAh battery, and weighs in at 389g. Rest of its specifications are same as that of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. Both variants are available in Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and LTE configurations, come with a touch-enabled Fingerprint Scanner, and offer Multitasking.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is powered by an octa-core processor (quad 1.9GHz + quad 1.3GHz), and sports an 8-inch Super AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage options, and packs in a 4000mAh battery. Both variants will launch this month with a price tag that start from $450.
The first press renders of the upcoming long-rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has been leaked online. The images shows a two variants, one with 8-inch display and another one with 9.7-inch display tablets.
Both versions of the tablet will feature a screen with 4:3 ratio and a resolution with 2048 x 1536 pixels the same as the one found in the Apple iPad family. The 9.7" Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will debut with the model number SM-T810, while the 8" variant will carry the SM-T710 moniker. The tablet is rumored to be only 5.4mm thin.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to pack the same 64-bit Exynos 7420 SoC as the Samsung Galaxy S6, coupled with 3GB. The chipset is among the most powerful solutions currently on the market, thus meaning that the slates won't lack hardware oomph.
