These improvements had been rolling out in South Korea for a while now but finally it's here in the US. AT&T has started to roll out a single huge update of 480MB to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. It will address the color calibration settings on the two devices so that the users can set the RGB calibration to their liking and get rid of any unwanted hues. Also included is an improvement to the Bixby hardware button which has something to do with the timing of short-pressing the button. Other improvements include fix for the infamous DQA pop-up error and fix for a 5G access point Wi-Fi compatibility issue.
Firmware version G950USQU1AQDE and G955USQU1AQDE are making their way onto the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ respectively. The only difference in-between the two being the size (the S8 may have a smaller file size). It's good to see the update make its way into the US, but what we would have also liked to see is some of the Bixby functionalities which are currently available for South Korean users, make their way onto other regions as well.

It looks like Bixby will be dealing with more than just smartphones in the future as Samsung has just patented something that looks suspiciously like a pair of smart speakers. As far as concrete information is concerned, all we know about the patent are the pictures you see above and the fact that it is going to be an "Audio Device." Judging by the shape of the "audio device" though, I would say that it's a pretty safe bet to call it a speaker set.
If you are wondering if the patent said anything about the device having smart capabilities or Bixby in general, sadly it didn't. We are just speculating on what most reports on the internet seem to indicate. Besides, it's about time Samsung brings some competition to Amazon and Microsoft in the smart speaker segment, especially now that they own Harman international; a brand famous for making world class audio equipment. Do you agree with the consensus that it's a speaker or do you think it's a display of some sort? Or... could it be a speaker with a giant display? Who knows!

We all know that the iPhone 8 will supposedly be more special than ever before because this year will mark the iPhone's 10th anniversary. However, apart from a lot of speculations and a few questionable renders, we have so far been given little else to go on here. Then again, Apple have always been better at keeping secrets than Samsung. Nevertheless, we do have another render for you to look at and marvel today because it looks gorgeous.
If @OnLeaks and @GearIndia is onto something here, we are truly looking at an absolutely stunning bezel-less iPhone 8 this year. Just check the rendered images and the video we have for you to see what we mean. It is a known fact that @OnLeaks is one of the most reliable leaksters on the internet and if he is saying that this could be how the iPhone 8 OLED will look, he could very well be right! However, we could not help but notice that in spite of being different in its own way (especially with that brand new dual camera in landscape orientation), this design does seem a lot like what we saw on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ just a month back.
