Moto G8

There has been a good amount of leaks about Moto G8 and G8 Plus specs by XDA-Developers. Now other leaks have been posted by 91Mobiles about its design. The renders have been reported of the vanilla Moto G8. The picture shows us how the front and back of the Moto G8 will look. It has a punch-hole cutout on the left side of the display, a vertically stacked triple camera system, and a fingerprint scanner located under the Motorola logo at the back side of the device.

The render also shows some details including a d3.5mm port at the top of the smartphone. There is a prominent chin and what seems to be macro and ultra-wide branding on the back side. These apparent Moto G8 renders look good enough to attract the attention of mobile users. The Moto G8 and G8 Plus share some features and hardware specs, such as both have a punch-hole display, a physical fingerprint scanners just below the rear Moto logo, a Snapdragon 665 processing chip, and Android operating system version 10.

The Mote G8 has a big 6.39-inch HD+ LCD display. It uses 2GB/4GB memory and 32GB/64GB storage. There is dual-SIM support in some regions but no NFC. The phone is also said to offer a 4,000mAh batter with 10W charging, making for a hefty upgrade over the Moto G7's 3,000mAh battery. The vanilla Moto G8 is rumored to have a triple rear camera, featuring a 16MP f/1.7 primary camera lens, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP f/2.2 macro lens. An 8MP camera in a punch-hole cutout is said to be available for taking selfies.

The phone is expected to offer a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. This would line up with an earlier FCC filing for a Moto phone with a 5,000mAh pack. The power device is said to have an identical camera layout compared to the vanilla G8 and might have a fourth camera lens for the depth or potentially a telephoto camera restricted to higher-end mobile devices. There is no price on the price range for the device yet, but hopefully, it is competitively priced to take on Nokia and Samsung.

Moto recently teased its next smartphone that the company is launching on December 3. The phone has a pop-up camera with 64MP sensor. According to the teaser and rumors, this will be Moto one hyper. The launch event will be held in Brazil and so far, there is no information on its release schedule throughout the world. The Motorola One range has followed the norm of naming the phone after a distinct camera feature, as we have seen with the One Vision and One Action. However, with the One Hyper, we don't have any information about why it's called "Hyper".

Since September, the rumors about the upcoming high-end smartphone started to pour in and we have seen some real-like images of the concept design as well. But now we have some real images of Motorola's smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera and a notch-less display. The images are not being released from the official sources and maybe that's why the images are not clear but these are good enough to give a hint about the pop-up camera. Evan Blass, a reliable smartphone leaker Evan Blass tweeted out some images of notch-less Moto phone a few weeks ago.

The new phone features a powerful Snapdragon 675 processor, has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 6.39-inch IPS screen (FHD+). But the device apparently houses a 64MP primary camera, which means Moto will be joining other smartphone manufacturers offering high-resolution sensors. The device is also said to have an 8MP depth sensor on the back side and a 32MP camera for the selfie camera. According to the specification, it seems like a mid-range smartphone rather than the premium phone we were expecting. However, it will interesting to see how Moto breaks in the industry saturated with high-end smartphones with premium features. Motorola One Hyper could have a 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast-charging over USB Type-C.

moto razr

The Motorola Razr was one of the bestselling mobile phones before the iPhone era. It has debut it's come back with an admirable foldable phone with same the iconic design with a touch of modern technology. The Moto did an amazing job and would stand out. But the phone isn't a cheap one. It is a $1500 device with the not-so-much screen than other foldable devices.

The original device that was launched back in 2004 left some serious impact on mobile phone designs. The company's mid-range and budget smartphones are also liked for its functionality and value. Moto tried to experiment with its most ambitious and successful design. The Moto Z4 looks almost similar to the original Moto Z. The Razr 2019 is a chance for the company to come back and win the market most suddenly. We have seen foldable devices folding horizontally but the Razr has its idea of foldable design and reveals the folding screen in a vertical way.

When the device is close you get a much smaller screen that gives you small real estate for checking emails, text messages, or make calls. This is similar to what you get on a smartwatch. There is a rear-side camera on the quick-look screen, which becomes a selfie camera when the phone is closed. The device is perfectly small to use with one hand. You can claim shut it fits in your hand or your pocket. This small design makes Razr special and different. The price is although a major factor for many people so this phone is not for everyone. The Motorola Razr 2019 was announced on November 13 with pre-orders opening on December 26, 2019 before a release date sometime in January 2020 in the US.

While there are companies like Samsung and Huawei designing foldable devices, the Moto Razr V4 is expected to be one of the first affordable foldable. The launch date for the device is rumored to be November 13, at an event in Los Angeles, so it could be available long before the Huawei's foldable. According to the latest rumor, it will be cost around $1500. Since the prices can be different in other regions, it could be something around the base price. The main selling point of the mobile phone is its foldable screen. The first hint came from Lenovo's CEO, who said, "With the new technology, particularly foldable screens, I think you will see more and more innovation on our smartphone design. So hopefully what you just described [the Motorola Razr brand] will be developed or realized very soon."

Then, at MWC 2019, Motorola vice president and general manager Anthony Barounas, said, according to TrustedReviews: "If you go around the stores today, for me the phones all look the same. It's difficult to see if it's a Motorola, or [another brand]. How we differentiate to the consumer, show them something different, that's where foldable comes in. And that's where Motorola also has a very big investment. I can't say much but we have one franchise that will have a very big impact there."

We have finally seen some leak images of the possible design of the upcoming Moto Razr 2019, and they are expected to be like a clamshell-like design with a screen of 6.2-inches that folds in the middle. The size would be much smaller than the other foldable devices when folded. There will be a small camera bump and a power button on the front. When open, there seem no visible hinge. There are also some pictures of the Moto Razr v4 patent pointing to the folding screen.

The rumors suggest that there will be a secondary screen that can be used to display notifications and clock, or to interact with the Google Assistant when the device is closed. It sounds like it won't have the full functionality of the main screen if this rumor is right. The device might be powered by Snapdragon 710 and have 4/6 GB RAM with a 64/128GB storage configuration. Finger crossed, let's see what Moto bring for its fan base in the foldable category.

Moto one

If you are looking for an affordable phone with a great video camera, the clean software, and smooth performance, the Moto's new One Action is worth to have a look. So far, Moto hasn't claimed its lost position in the flagship smartphones but it's budget smartphones are getting better and stronger. One of the latest Moto One Action also falls in the budget category. With so many budget-category phones nowadays, you must be wondering what is so different about this phone? And whether it's worth your money.

The Moto One family started in 2018 and this is the third and the cheapest phone in the series. The series runs on Andriod One. The main selling point of the phone is its dedicated video shooter inspired by the action camera like GoPro. The Motorola One Action's "action" camera is a 16MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree field of view. In an interesting move, Motorola has flipped the entire lens by 90 degrees, meaning you can shoot landscape video while holding the phone in portrait mode. If this sounds like it'd be a bit weird, well, it is.

The camera can shoot a video at Full HD resolution at up to 60fps. You also have the option to shoot at 21:9 to match the One Action's display. Also, the camera is bolstered by some impressive electronic stabilization tech which keeps video nice and smooth even if your hands are a little shaky! This phone doesn't have much to offer if you are into wide-angle photography. It uses Samsung's Exynos 9609 and has 4GB memory. It has a curved glass design and looks stunning in the denim blue, aqua teal, and pearl white colors.

The worst part is the 21:9 aspect ratio which isn't considered great when watching movies or playing video games. The LCD isn't bright either and may feel a little aggressive to some. It has a massive punch hole for the selfie camera. The battery life is okay with a 3500mAh battery. It is not water or dust proof either.
