While most manufacturers do have a codename for almost all their important devices, not every one of those codenames make it onto the final consumer product. The Galaxy S10 seems to have the codename Beyond, but it's probably only for the internal staff and not exactly a marketing term that we will see printed on the box. In case you are not aware, the Galaxy S9 has the codename Star and the Galaxy S8 was dubbed Dream.

So, does the name Beyond signify anything? It could, given that the Galaxy S10 is going to be Samsung's tenth anniversary S-series phone and they will likely hate to be outdone by Apple. The 3D camera which is rumored to be featured in the S10 could be a game changer, along with the in-display fingerprint scanner. We will just have to wait and see if Sasmung is truly able to go "beyond" their current gen flagships with the Galaxy S10.

Wi-Fi Alliance has long been the site where upcoming phones and tablets have been leaked at during the certification process and this time, it was time for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S4 to make an appearance on the site for its Wi-Fi certification.

Granted that this isn't much of a leak since we already knew that the Tab S4 is coming, but its appearance on the site suggests that the tablet might not be as far away from release as was rumored previously. The tablet seen on the site is indeed the Tab S4 with model number SM-T835 and possibly a 10.5-inch QHD display at 16:10 ratio. Unfortunately, just like all previous tablets by Samsung, it will be powered by an outdated flagship chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. There will also be 4 GB of RAM onboard, backed by 64GB internal storage and a possible expansion slot for a micro-SD card. SamMobile suggests that the Galaxy Tab S4 could be making an appearance at the IFA in August - September 2018.

The Infinity Display is not exclusive to Samsung flagships anymore because the higher end Galaxy A-series smartphones are already sporting it as well. Granted that they are not exactly the same QHD+ displays rocked by the flagship devices such as the S9 or the Note 8, these FHD+ displays look just as good to the naked eye in most cases. It looks like the upcoming Galaxy A6+ will also be sporting the FHD+ Infinity Display, as made evident by the leaked images you see here.

These images showed up on the National Communications Commission website in Taiwan, alongside the certification and of course, the model number (M-A605G/DS). The six-inch 18.5:9 display isn't really a surprise as it was both rumored and expected via earlier leaks, but seeing the live photos confirms this fact, especially given the source. This will be the first time that Samsung will feature the Infinity Display on a mid-range smartphone.

There has been a rumor around lately that Samsung is planning to launch an Android Go device very soon, but the company has not made any official announcements to confirm it yet. Nevertheless, a device has been spotted on Geekbench that is most likely this rumored, upcoming Android Go device by Samsung with quite basic specs, as expected. The spotted handset, aka SM-J260G will probably be sold as the Galaxy J2 Core according to online sources, but we will have to wait for the official confirmation.

In case you are not aware, Android Go is a lite version of Android 8.0 Oreo that will run smoothly on even entry level devices with very weak specs. In fact, a lot of first party apps like Gmail and Google Maps already has a Go version that runs smoothly on the OS. Major third-party apps like Facebook also has a dedicated app to run flawlessly on low-powered devices running on Android Go. Would you buy an Android Go smartphone from Samsung? Let us know in the comments.

While people are not exactly a fan of Samsung's digital assistant yet, the company has not given up on Bixby. On the contrary, they are improving it with each passing day and is hopeful that it will indeed become something unique and grand soon. If you are not sure about the company's efforts in this regard, then know that a latest patent filed by the company seems to indicate that Bixby might be able to "sense" your presence in a room automatically.

As you can imagine, this would be a standout feature for the Bixby Speaker when it comes out during the second half of the year to compete against the likes of Amazon's Echo and Google Home. Apparently, the speaker will be fitted with a bunch of additional sensors that will let it detect the physical presence of a human being in the room. One of those sensors will a temperature/humidity sensor, as per the patent. Whether we will really see this when the Bixby Speaker comes out later in the year, remains to be seen.
