New Version 4.0 is Here, if you travel a lot, installing Waze on your mobile device is a must, as it might save precious commuting time. The Israeli mapping software company that was acquired by Google a couple of years ago just released Waze 4.0, which is even easier to use than before.

Waze 4.0 showcases a new, cleaner design for easier navigation, reporting and sharing. Steps to navigate have been minimized. The Waze map, menus and road reporting system are redesigned for higher visibility and clarity, including less clutter on the map, brighter buttons, and color-coded pins per report type. From head to toe, Waze has been revamped with a stronger focus on the driver and the social driving experience.

The update for Android will be available in the near future, but iOS users can already download Waze 4.0 on their iPhones and iPads. Check out the video below.

Verizon Wireless has officially roll out support the Samsung Pay, if you have a Verizon Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ or Note 5, you'll have proper Samsung Pay support now by doing a software update then download the Samsung Pay app.

At this time just five banking institutions are on board - American Express, Bank of America, Citi Bank, U.S. Bank and Synchrony Financial.

Bank support should be expanding over time, so you'll just have to be patient if your bank isn't supported just yet. But if you meet all of the requirements, you're now good to go with Samsung Pay!

In addition to support for Samsung Pay, the software update also brings along security fixes for the latest vulnerabilities.

Launching new colours after a product launch is nothing new for Samsung. While they skipped additional colours for their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, they're introducing two new colour options for the Galaxy Note 5 in South Korea.

Samsung's treating their home market to two stand-out colours - Pink Gold and Silver Titanium. This is in addition to their previous colours - Pearl White, Black Sapphire and Platinum Gold. Samsung already debuted the Silver Titanium during the Galaxy Note 5 launch and it's likely this is the exact colour scheme being offered in South Korea.

Based on the launch images, the Pink Gold fits the pink smartphone trend. The deeper pink is definitely a stand out from many of the pink devices now available. Those wanting the Silver Titanium should consider how well fingerprints show up, though it does work well as a mirror.

If you want the new colours, the Silver Titanium 32 GB costs 899,900 won ($800). Both colours are available in the 64 GB version for 965,800 won ($850).

OnePlus isn't having as much success as they'd hope in the low-cost flagship segment. Increased competition and other issues is making the launch of their OnePlus 2 difficult. To boost sales, the company offered to sell the OP2 for anyone without an invite for one hour. They're also trying a new marketing tactic that might not be their best idea.

OnePlus has attempted contests in the past, such as Smash The Past and a controversial photo competition. Neither went well. Their new approach is good in theory, but customers aren't likely to enjoy it any more than past contests.

The company wants customers to donate their Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge / S6 Edge+ and Note 5 devices for a free OnePlus 2. All donated phones go to Hope Phones, an organization dedicated to providing medical technology to people in need.

With the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ being worth nearly double the OnePlus 2, it's unlikely many customers will take their deal. It might also have been better if they'd opened up the program to more flagship phones in 2015 than just Samsung.

Video is nothing new on Facebook, but it could be a dedicated feature in the future. Facebook's testing a special feed to help users see only the videos posted from friends, viral videos or those from liked pages. It's like a personalized YouTube without leaving Facebook.

Some users are seeing a dedicated video tab in the normal Messenger shortcut. The tab isn't available in Android, but Facebook has stated the new suggested videos feature already on iOS should hit Android soon.

It's obvious Facebook is serious about videos and competing with YouTube. They've already rolled out features such as celebrity live streaming, 360 degree VR videos and more advanced creator tools. The new push for videos is just Facebook's way to make it your one stop destination while online. Of course, spending more time on the site equals more revenue from ads for them.
