Google has just officially released the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, the first Nexus device to get its Android 5.0.2 factory image is the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi "nakasi". Google didn't release any official Change-log but it looks like that its a Hot-fix update to fix some critical bugs.

Android 5.0.1 update was just released a few days ago, and Google already released 5.0.2 starting with the Nexus 7 and Soon it will hit the rest of the Nexus family. The OTA Update is not yet released but it's expected to start Rolling-out very soon.

LG G3 lollipop


Today, The Official Android 5.0 Lollipop has began Rolling-out to LG G3 in the United Kingdom. The new OS build is reportedly seeding to Vodafone UK devices at the moment.

 

LG began updating its Smartphone flagship to Android 5.0 in Europe earlier last month. The first market on the continent to get the treatment was Poland.

The Korean giant is the first major smartphone manufacturer to deliver the latest Android build to its halo smartphone. LG will subsequently announce Android 5.0 upgrade schedule for the rest of its lineup of mobile devices.

Google already released the factory images of the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop to some Nexus devices (Nexus 10, Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi, Nexus 9 Wi-Fi). Today, Android 5.0.1 Update is Rolling-out OTA (Over-The-Air) to these devices, the update is about 8.4 MB - 15 MB in size. Check the Screenshot below from a Google Nexus 10.

Google didn't say much about this update change-log. However, This Minor update brings some Important bug fixes, Wi-Fi Improvements and Performance Enhancements, it also fix some instability issues that was reported with the official Android 5.0 release.

The Rest of Google Nexus family (Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 LTE... etc) will receive Android 5.0.1 update very soon during this month.

NVIDIA has kept its promise and the Wi-Fi-only version of the SHIELD Tablet has already been updated with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Fortunately, its LTE-enabled sibling won't stay far behind in terms of software, as it is also receiving the freshest variation of the confectionery mobile platform too.

The update is rolling out over-the-air just reach and grab it from your gaming tablet's Settings menu. If you don't own a SHIELD Tablet, on the other hand, you can get one as a part of NVIDIA's Black Friday bundle deal.

Android 5.0 Lollipop Update is now seeding to Moto X (2014) for Verizon Wireless. The update arrives only a couple of days after soak test invites got out to Motorola Feedback Network participants.

The latest Android build for the Moto X is in stock guise, so it offers the same user interface experience as the Nexus 6. The biggest highlights of Android 5.0 include sleek Material Design and brand new ART runtime. The latter makes devices feel a lot more responsive regardless of the task they perform.
