NVIDIA showcased the ultra high-end Titan X graphics card during a press event in San Francisco. The company's CEO boasted that the newcomer is the most advanced GPU the world has ever seen.

Titan X is built using NVIDIA's Maxwell architecture. It packs 12GB framebuffer and 8 billion transistors, which took thousands of engineer-years to build. NVIDIA Titan X will be used to deliver a new virtual reality experience at an eye-popping 90 fps. More details on the new graphics card will be available in a few weeks.

The LCD technology is endless, Japan Display Inc. took the wraps off a new WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) LCD display with in-cell touch integration. The high-end component is the first of its kind to enter mass production.

The newcomer will have a diagonal larger than five inches. It incorporates in-cell touch used in JDI's "Pixel Eyes" technology. In-cell touch integration has been difficult to incorporate in high-resolution displays, so the new LCD panel is quite an engineering feat.

Viewing angles of the display will be larger than 160 degrees. Its surface luminance and NTSC ratio are 500cd/m2 and 85% respectively. The unit's contrast ratio is 1500:1. We should see this display in devices starting this year.

Last year, We reached the 128GB limit in microSD cards. This year at MWC 2015, SanDisk broke that record and introduced New 200GB microSD card. The SanDisk 200GB Ultra® microSDXC^TM UHS-I card is now a reality.

Moving files won't take nearly as long, the card is UHS-I rated and can offers transfer speeds of 90MBps which is approximately about 1,200 photos moved per minute. The card is water proof, temperature proof (-25°C to 85°C / -13°F to 185°F), shock proof, magnet proof and even X-ray proof.

The 200GB microSD card will become available worldwide in Q2,2015 at $400. The price will probably go down after the initial launch, the 128GB card is currently $100, having started at $130. It was as low as $90 at one point.

At MWC 2015, Qualcomm just officially announced the Snapdragon 820 Soc (System-on-chip). The chipset will be built on a FinFET manufacturing process, but Qualcomm didn't specify if this means TSMC's 16nm or Samsung's 14nm tech will be used the SD 820.

The star of the Snapdragon 820 chip, which debuts Qualcomm's Zeroth platform. It promises to be a cognitive computing platform, which means that it can anticipate users needs and actions in advance. One real-life application of the platform as demoed on stage is a camera recognizing the subject of the photo.

Inside the chip Qualcomm's custom ARMv8 CPU core also makes a first appearance. Dubbed Kryo, it sports 64-bit architecture, but at this point there aren't any more details regarding it.

Qualcomm says it will start sampling the Snapdragon 820 in the second half of 2015. This leaves us to anticipate the first devices rocking the chip early 2016. Expect more information about the Snapdragon 820 as it becomes available.

Researchers of the 5G network reaches a Record-breaking speeds at the test site, which is the University of Surrey's 5G Innovation Center (5GIC). The Network was able to reach the speed of 1 Terabytes per second (1Tbps) which is technically the same data capacity of a fibreoptic cable but wirelessly. This is a big break-thought in the wireless technology.

It will take years to see a fully functional 5G Networks available for public use (probably by 2018) and even some more years to see a Smartphone with a 5G chip that can handle this speed probably by (2020).
