Zauba, a website that tracks import and export of phones to India, has released some info related to SamSung's latest imports. As the new phones are imported in relatively lesser number for testing, it has become helpful in revealing the specifications of the devices. The model numbers of the two smartphones imported into India are actually Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930R4) and the S7 Edge (SM-G935R4).

The listing also shows that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be featuring a 5.1-inch screen and the Galaxy Edge will come with a bit larger 5.5-inch screen. This is in sync with the specifications that were revealed in the AnTuTu benchmark test. It is expected that the screen will have QHD resolution. The Zauba listing identified first by NapiDroid confirms that the two devices of both the variants have been shipped to the country for testing with hidden IMEI number.

The Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge will cost around $351 and as these units are for testing, the prices actually don't point to anything concrete. These new smartphones where last spied in the AnTuTu benchmark tests and it is still not confirmed whether Samsung would power these devices with Snapdragon 820 or use the in-house Exynos.

It is quite possible that Samsung might use both of the SoCs in different variants, just like the way it was done in the Galaxy S5. Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge on February 21st at the time of Samsung Unpacked 2016 scheduled at MWC in Barcelona. Rumors say that Samsung is planning to ramp up the camera along with some of its inner parts but as far design goes we should expect bare minimum changes.

After just a few days from the first time it was heard of, the redesigned weather experience on Android is here. In addition to a brand new revamped user interface, Google Weather will now provide more details on the climate as well.

The generic Google Now Weather Card is replaced with a modern interface that will change backgrounds, depending on the real time weather and sky conditions in your area. An hourly breakdown of the weather is now added with area-specific info on chances of rain and snow. A more robust roster of warnings and alerts including UV index, air quality and suggestions are part of the new interface. You will also be able to look at a 10 day weather forecast in details, sunrise and sunset timings, temperature graphs and much more.

A feature that we particularly liked with the new experience is that users can now select a new location and just tap on "Add" to have it in their list of favorite locations. The next time you want to check what the weather is like in London, just select it from the drop down menu after you have added it to your favourites. Go ahead and check it out on your Android phone/tablet now.

The use of VPN or proxy servers is quite common as people around the world often use it to either get access to the services of Netflix or just to watch programs that would otherwise be locked in their region. Netflix is determined to stop this in hopes of limiting its users to only the services and shows that are offered in their respective geographical locations.

Netflix offers its services across 190 nations now and although it is good news for the company and its viewers, it also makes things extremely complicated. If the media rights to certain content are owned by a company in Australia, it is probably owned by a completely different company in the UK. This is what creates a lot of problem with licensing and thus the library of content for Netflix differs with the particular country it is providing its services to.

We imagine that Netflix is under pressure from the local media companies to limit user access unless they have already paid for broadcasting rights. Netflix has assured its users officially, that over the course of time, they will be able to minimize the gaps in between global content across several countries.

If you are still interested in seeing shows that are locked in your area, then we might have good news for you. Rumor has it that the new content restriction measures taken by Netflix works by detecting the IP address of the user. Therefore, it might be possible to still watch those locked shows if you just change your IP address through VPN. How well it works is debatable though.

Last year Google released two nexus devices at the same time - Nexus 5S made by LG and Nexus 6P made by Huawei. It seems this type of launch has become quite a convention and Google is supposed to do it this year too.

Yesterday, a rumor about about the new Nexus devices surfaced. As per the rumor, HTC is will be the manufacturer of the two new Nexus devices to be released in the later part of 2016. Right not much is known about the two devices. But, one will feature a 5-inch screen, and the other will have a 5.5-inch display. Today, ROM developer @LlabTooFeR unveiled nuggets of new info about the two smartphones in a tweet .

The developer posed that the codename for the 5-inch Nexus phone is T50 and for the 5.5-inch model codename is the T55. It is quite evident that the codenames are curated from the screen size of the devices. Going by the history of correct tips released by the developer, this tweet also seems reliable.

The Nexus One, the very first Nexus device was built by HTC back in 2010. The Taiwanese company will also be manufacturing the Nexus 9 tablet. Apparently Huawei was also trying to create an entry for itself in the run for building this year's Nexus devices, but finally HTC won the deal.
