Solid Explorer 2.0 looks completely different from the current build that includes a Full Material Design UI. It has all of the Lollipop animations we've come to expect, along with a proper full-height navigation menu, floating action button, and colored status bar. The default blue/orange UI can be changed to whatever you like in the settings. You even get animated thumbnails for video. That's cool, but I could see it ending up a little annoying long-term. The app looks great, but I'm not sure about the icon.

The popular third-party Dolphin Browser has been updated to support Android 5.0 Lollipop. The browser now supports Flash and the whole browsing experience has been enhanced with the update.
It might be a day late, but the update also includes some Christmas themed wallpaper. An interesting new feature automatically clears app storage when there is not enough native storage to run the browser.

Nokia announced its first lollipop tablet, Nokia N1 last month with its own UI on top which called the Nokia Z Launcher. Well, lucky enough, the Nokia Z Launcher is still in BETA stages and has been updated to version 1.0.6 with some bug fixes and now works on more devices.

The Android TV Launcher is Now Available for Download on Google Play. Google has decided to make it a standalone app from Android TV, similarly to the Google Experience Launcher.
The launcher gives you access to your media like movies, songs and Android TV apps like Netflix, TED and YouTube. To install it, you'll need an Android TV device, like the Nexus Player and ADT-1.
