One of the Best News Apps on the Google Play Store just got a major update. BBC News official Android App just got a major update to version 3.0 with a revamped user interface and tons of New features.
The first you'll notice in BBC News v3.0 is the Material Design UI that changes the App's look completely, adding some animation to the left navigation drawer and topic tabs. BBC also updated the video player on the App so that it runs more smoothly and faster. One of the many new features in v3.0 is that you can select your main new topics for the App to focus on and send you Push notifications for any updates regarding this specific topic only (e.g. Paris Attacks, Ebola, Air Asia flight.. etc).

Facebook for Android is now being Updated every week with bug fixes and New features, You can Now try out the latest App version of Facebook For Android version 27.0.0.0.3 Alpha Build which support Android 5.0 Lollipop API 21. In this Version users can now log into their accounts faster without typing their password with "Fast log-in". Also, Facebook added a new about page.
After downloading the latest Alpha build, Facebook suggests turning on automatic updates as it plans on updating the app a few times a week. Adobe has just released a new mobile version of one of its more popular and useful pieces of photo-editing software. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is now avaialbe in the Google Play store.
What does Lightroom for Android allow you to do, exactly? Provided that you have one of the required Adobe subscription plans, you can sync the photos you have inside the full-blown Lightroom 5 program on your desktop to your smartphone and edit them directly from your phone. The true strength of the app, however, lies in its ability to edit RAW images that you've taken with your DSLR camera. The App is Free but for a 30-day trial.
Today, Facebook unveiled a new version of its social network, called "Facebook At Work", with an emphasis on organizational communication for employees at a single company. The service, which is set to launch as a free app on Android's Google Play and iOS' App Store later today, will still require participating companies to receive an official invite, but upon launching the service, employees will enter an ad-free, no-subscription version of Facebook that connects employees only to each other, as opposed to the wider world.
Facebook hasn't revealed many screenshots or any demo footage ahead of the app's launch, but Facebook offered Ars a brief description: "Facebook at Work is a separate experience that gives employees the ability to connect and collaborate efficiently using Facebook tools, including many that they're likely already using, such as News Feed, Groups, messages, and events." In that respect, the service will both mirror those of corporate communication tools like Yammer and Slack and offer its own familiar twist for employees who have already gotten hooked on Facebook's style.
In the meantime, creator Lars Rasmussen made the interview rounds on Wednesday to describe what users can expect from the work-only version. In short, users will be allowed to have both their personal and work logins running at the same time, though in separate apps; they'll be able to share documents through the Work site but not yet edit them; and much of the way posts and links are presented will resemble Facebook Groups.
Google Maps for Android updated to version 9.3.0 with some New features and Bug fixes and it's now Rolling-out on the lay store. The update adds One major new feature to App that is worth mentioning which is, shareable directions.
Sharing your direction with another Google Maps user is now Possible, You can now tell your friends the exact route you are following to get to the party, school or home with the New "Shareable directions" feature. Once a user looks up directions or navigation to a destination, they can share the directions with any app in the normal share menu or to Google Glass (If you have one).
