The Samsung Galaxy Note launches on T-Mobile nearly 11 months after the launch of the original international version of the phone and still costs a hefty $249.99 on a two-year plan.
That just doesn't seem reasonable to us, and etailer Wirefly is here to fix that injustice with a $70 price drop which brings the price of the Galaxy Note down to $179.99 for those willing to sign into a two-year agreement with T-Mobile. Good news is that the same price is also good for those due for upgrade on the carrier.
Samsung has just officially Relessed the long waited tablet Galaxy Note 10.1 after it was returned to the R&D center for a specs update and now the tablet is as ready for action as it could be. It comes with Samsung's very own Exynos 4412 chipset with a quad-core 1.4GHz processor, Mali 400MP GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with 10.1" screen, It features a PLS TFT resolution of 1280x800 pixels, making for a pixel density of 149ppi. it also comes with some exclusive apps to take advantage of the stylus, including S Note, S Planner, Crayon physics, Adobe® Photoshop® Touch, and Polaris Office. There's also palm rejection support, so you won't hit any buttons by accident with your palm when drawing with the S Pen.
The tablet is available in Korea, Germany, the US and the UK. It'll gradually be rolled-out to other global markets some time this month. European pricing is set at €479 for the Wi-Fi only version and €599 for the 3G-enabled units.
Just right after Samsung officially announced ... The source code for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been released and it is now Available for download.
This means that developers can now start developing custom ROMs for the newly announced 10.1″ slate and users can roll-back to the factory ROM if they experienced any issues with a custom ROM.

The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 is becoming the Most powerful tablet Samsung ever made with its quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor running the show. Samsung launched the GALAXY Note 10.1 in the U.S. today and sales will start tomorrow.

Samsung has sent out invites to a location in the Big Apple, where it is expected to introduce a new product. The drawing on the invitation shows what looks to be a generic tablet with the words "Meet the new way" written inside the drawing using a stylized font. Some retailers has started offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet again for pre-ordering, after it was listed on Amazon by a Mistake.
The prices are around $500 for the 16GB model, and $550 for the 32GB version. This puts it up against the new iPad directly, but Samsung has some tricks up its sleeve to battle the Resolutionary display of Apple's finest.
Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 device have appeared in the GLBenchmark database, showcasing graphics prowess almost on par with Snapdragon S4 Pro devices with Adreno 320 GPU, which currently occupy four of the top five slots there.
The GT-N7100 scores higher in the Offscreen test than the Galaxy S III, which might mean Samsung will overclock the Exynos 4412 in the eventual Note II to squeeze some extra performance, just like it did with the Galaxy S II and the original Note last year.
Indeed, the System Info tab shows 1.6GHz maximum frequency, whereas the Quad-core Exynos in the S III is clocked at 1.4GHz, hence the boost in the GT-N7100 performance.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet, back in February during the MWC 2012, the tablet specs was featured a dual-core 1.4GHz Exynos processor along with the S Pen.

The Korean newspaper said that Samsung decided to go with the quad-core Exynos processor as a way to make the tablet more competitive to the new Apple iPad. The A5X processor in the latter tablet has outperformed even the Tegra 3 when it comes to graphics so Samsung is hoping that by bringing in a higher-spec chipset, it will be in better shape to compete with Apple third-gen tablet.
After leaking the Galaxy S II ICS ROM, Here is the Galaxy Note N7000 Android ICS ROM Officially form Samsung, its still a beta version but it has many improvements. The ROM Code-named N7000XXLP1 running Android ICS 4.0.3 with Touch-wiz onboard.

Samsung has just announced some Bad News to Galaxy Note users, The Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for all Galaxy Note versions has been pushed back from Q1 launch to Q2, 2012 with no confirmed Month, So it will be during April, May or June.
It been confirmed by Samsung Norway through its Facebook account, so it is not certain if the delay will be a global thing, but that seems likely. The global rollout of the Ice Cream Sandwich update only took a few days, so we assume the Galaxy Note units, which are much fewer in number will be updated in a very short interval.
There is No reason for this delay. However, the Update will worth the wait!

The Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung GALAXY Note has been delayed from last Month to Q2,2012 and we expect the Update later this Month.
Today, an AT&T Galaxy Note device at CTIA spotted and recorded on video running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 with TouchWiz 4.0 with some extra features. Even if you didn't see the firmware version, some other telling signs, like the presence of a quick access to Settings in the drop-down notifiction window suggest Android ICS is onboard.

Finally, Samsung has Officially started Rolling out the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 update for Galaxy Note (N7000). Few users have started receiving notification for the firmware upgrade (about 400mb N7000XXLPY) that will bump the Android to version 4.0 and bring in all the Exclusive Premium Suite Apps & features inlcuding the Anry Birds Space.

Samsung GALAXY S2 I9100 users are patiently waiting for the Jelly Bean update, we saw the pre-released of the S2 jelly bean 4.1.2 a while ago and it was good and very stable but not yet ready. Samsung scheduled the update for a Mid-November release but it was sadly postponed. Now we are getting reports that the Galaxy S2 Jelly bean 4.1.2 update will start rolling-out by January,2013 as a late Christmas present for the S2 users.

Good News, Samsung has just Officially announced the Premium Suite Update (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) for the Original Galaxy Note N7000, which is similar to the Premium suite update that Galaxy S III users is receiving currently. It will be based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and will bring the Project Butter smoothness and Google Now assistant.
Owners of the original Galaxy Note will be getting the Multitasking Multi-View (Note II feature), popup versions of the Note, Video and Browser apps, handwriting support in the S Planner and Email, enhanced S Note app, Photo Note, Easy Clip, Paper Artist and a few more.

After we reported that Samsung Galaxy S III is getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update in September. Today, PCAdvisor confirmed our info and added that the Galaxy Note is also getting the Jelly Bean Update.
According to these reports, Samsung Galaxy Note will get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update before the End of the year, which suggest a Q4 Rolling-out. The update will include all Galaxy Note variants (N7000, I717... etc) for all carriers.
The Update Change-log is not yet available, but according to our sources it will pack Android version 4.1.1 (JB) and some minor UI changes on Samsung's TouchWiz.
