Samsung Galaxy View Specifications

The Galaxy View comes with a handle for an easy carry, as it weighs 2.65kg and measures 275.8 x 451.8 x 11.9mm. Rubber feet at the bottom keep it from sliding about and the back features a 2-way stand. Samsung says the tablet's 5700mAh can provide up to 8 hours of continuous video playback, although it's pretty clear you won't be going away from a power socket often. You'll be further enjoying the video content with a dual 4W stereo speaker setup.

The kitchen tablet market is growing with the already popular Sony Tablet Z Kitchen edition and Alcatel's OneTouch Xess. The newest to enter the market is the Samsung Galaxy View. At first, it was only rumors, but the 18.4 inch tablet is now listed at Adorama for pre-order.

The listing includes all the key specs, such as:
  • 120ppi FullHD resolution display
  • Exynos 7580 SoC processor aka Carmen2 (which clocked up to 1.6 GHz)
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 32 GB storage
  • Upgradeable storage by microSD up to 128 GB
  • 2.1 MP front-facing camera with video recording capability

Obviously, connectivity is key for quickly finding recipes and the Galaxy View has you covered. The listing shows support for Cat.6 LTE and quad-band 3G. WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac are all supported. There's also Bluetooth v4.1.

Just in case you need an extra large GPS, there's GPS with GLONASS and A-GPS included. Samsung states the 5,700mAh battery should allow for 8.5 hours of video viewing.
No details on when the actual release date will be, but the pre-order price is set at $599.

According to the leaked GFXBench benchmark result, Samsung's new flip phone Galaxy Golden 3 also known as the Model SM-W2016, revealed that the handset comes with a 4.6 inch 1280 x 768 display, a 16-megapixel rear camera,  a 5-megapixel front camera, the high-end Exynos 7420 octa core SoC processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The specs sheet is pretty solid, but the display is not on par with the Samsung Galaxy flagships out there, It almost seems like a Galaxy S6 replica in a flip form factor, which seems pretty cool and neat.

At the moment, we have no word on a potential release in the US, but we wouldn't count on it ever happening.  So what you guys think about a device like this?

Verizon Wireless has officially roll out support the Samsung Pay, if you have a Verizon Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ or Note 5, you'll have proper Samsung Pay support now by doing a software update then download the Samsung Pay app.

At this time just five banking institutions are on board - American Express, Bank of America, Citi Bank, U.S. Bank and Synchrony Financial.

Bank support should be expanding over time, so you'll just have to be patient if your bank isn't supported just yet. But if you meet all of the requirements, you're now good to go with Samsung Pay!

In addition to support for Samsung Pay, the software update also brings along security fixes for the latest vulnerabilities.
