Google has just started rolling-out the latest Hangouts v5.1 with some new features, updated Material Design user interface, better MMS handling, better Dual-sim support and Full Android Wear Support. The new version is rolling-out in stages to all Android users.

Another update to the Google's official Music App. Google Play Music 5.9.1852R update is Rolling-out, the new update focuses more on the User Interface and the user experience by adding more animations to the whole App. Google also updated the wat it handles Album arts photos with results in a more smoother UI Animations. Google Search App for Android has been update to version 4.2.16.87075793, bringing several new features and improvements, including a much need Android Wear bug fixes... many users reported that the previous version (4.1) had many issues with Android Wear devices.

Facebook for Android ALPHA has been updated to version 36.0.0.0.20 for the ALPHA testing channel. This update packs some minor but noticeable changes in the User interface.
After downloading the latest Alpha build, Facebook suggests turning on automatic updates as it plans on updating the app a few times a week. Facebook for Android ALPHA has been updated to version 43.0.0.0.18 for the ALPHA testing channel. This update packs various bug fixes and performance improvements regarding the speed and stability of the App. Facebook has launched a new feature that allows you to easily find and share web links on the social network which called "Add a Link", However, this feature is not currently available to all users.
"Now, whenever you want to share a specific web link in your posts, just tap the new link icon, type in a few keywords to search for a link from our index of posts, and share it," the company said. So effectively, the feature makes sure that users won't have to leave the Facebook app when searching for Web links.

Google Chrome Stable for Android has just been update to v45.0.2454.84 with some critical bug fixes, performance improvements and a new feature called "Touch-to-Search" that is connected to the Google search App and "Chrome custom Tabs",

The latest WhatsApp version 2.12.284 for Android packs various bug fixes and some New features along with the usual Bug fixes.
One of the new features is the ability to mute contacts individually, whereas previously you could only mute groups. You can now also mark chats as rear or unread. WhatsApp also added some new emoji, like the middle finger and spock emoji, and now you can choose different skin colors for some of the emoji. There is now also an option to reduce call quality and use less data. Lastly, there is now support for Urdu and Bengali languages.
The new updates also bring the ability to mark conversations as unread, although this will only take effect in your app, and the message will still show up as read to the other participants in a conversation.
The new features also include a few new setting options. One particularly interesting addition is a new low data mode for voice calls, one that, as the name suggests, will put voice calls on a data diet, a feature that will be surely welcomed in emerging markets where mobile data is still expensive.

Google Play Movies App has been updated to version 3.4.23 and like many other Google apps being updated in preparation for Android 5.0, Movies now has a fancy-schmancy Material Design logo. The old logo had a subtle Play Store-themed background, but version 3.4.23 uses the same slightly "folded" look we've seen from other updated apps.
In addition to new Material Design standards all over the app, Google Play Movies & TV has some special additions just for Chromecast users. Now when casting a video to your TV, your phone or tablet acts as a second screen info display, showing the actors on screen at the moment above the progress bar and playback controls.

Google updated its Google Play Store App to version 5.4.10 with some minor User Interface changes. This update changes the Apps view pages look in most of the devices running Android 4.4 or 5.0 showing a complete Transparent Notification Bar on the Top.
You'll notice that in Google Play 5.4 the App's feature graphics appears to reach towards the top of the screen. The green strip doesn't return to the bar until you start to scroll down. It seems like a minor change but it has a great impact in the Overall UI (screenshot above).
