It appears as though Samsung would like you to employ that so it formally makes itself. Following the region lock which has troubled customers simply because Samsung really wants to place a lid on gray imports, a study from the Korean media indicates that the organization may be searching at enforcing using official Samsung add-ons next. This can apparently be achieved by using an ID nick, which is baked into add-ons (battery chargers, battery packs, as well as covers) and accustomed to authorize that they're official before they work.

Now, if the indeed happens, it brings along both pros and cons. Just in case of advantages, this could be sure that the frequency of accidents for example batteries catching fire and harmful the unitOrhome - which will be the consequence of third-party batteries getting used - could be reduced. However, the switch side of the that you simply won't have the ability to use add-ons not approved by Samsung, departing only Samsung's official add-ons because the option, which may be bad considering how pricey individuals situations are.

Obviously, Samsung will still allow third-party accessory makers to obtain certification to be used using the company's products, however it could hurt consumer choice, especially when it comes to cost. Right now it's a rumor, however with Samsung's recent antics, we wouldn't be amazed if the happens it will require in the goal to create things harder for customers.

The Galaxy Note 3 is presently available on the market for anybody has an interest in, however the Rumor mill has already been getting busy on the next Samsung flagship. Based On ETNEws The new sony and Samsung LSI are preparing themselves for any putting in a bid war being the primary supplier from the camera, which based on sources will have a 16 Mega pixel sensor.  It's likely to be put into the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Samsung LSI has that ISOCELL technology allow it an advantage in addition to optical image stabilization, but that is only accessible inside a 13 Mega pixel module for the time being. Additionally, there are the truth that Samsung LSI belongs to Samsung itself therefore it has better connections round the Mobile division.

Next come some gossips concerning the specs from the Samsung Galaxy S5 from Joseilbo. They're very positive and, you might argue, slightly impractical. First in regards to the CPU, that is stated to become 64-bit octa-core Exynos. We have learned about this chipset before and it is stated to become a 14nm Exynos 6. 4 GB of RAM can also be pointed out, however that sounds a lot more like a wishlist than actual insider information.

We have heard the next Galaxy S line up will even have the ability to withstand water and mud which it'll have eye-checking tech. Can be if the introduction of individuals will really finish promptly so that they reach the Galaxy S5, though.  We looking forward to Samsung announcing it at the MWC next February.

Great news for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners, there's another software coming out just for your.

The update gets the build number XXUBMJ3, which is presently moving over a couple of European nations (Uk, A vacation in a holiday in greece, Romania, etc.) both over-the-air and through Samsung Kies.

Unfortunately, like the first one, the update is pretty minor at around 29MB, and doesn't have much in the way of a changelog, only mentioning "stability improvements" once again.

This can be truly the entire changelog for the update as develop with SamMobile:

  • TRIM Support (Makes the device much faster)
  • ANT+ Support
  • vSamsung KNOX Implementation (KNOX bootloader and dedicated application)

There were news that the Samsung Galaxy S5 is going to be launched at Mobile World Congress of 2014 that will take place in Barcelona, Spain during 24 Feb to 27 Feb.

There is no details about the specifications of the Galaxy S5 but as based on the our sources and Korean reports, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature an Eye-Scanning unlock capability which lets you to unlock their Samsung Galaxy S5 via scanning their eyes.

According to the rumors, Samsung has started working on the sensor that will be equipped on the Samsung Galaxy S5 to allow the users to protect their device more like never before.Unfortunately, there is no information on how this Eye-Scanning sensor will work but Samsung has decided to go one step ahead of other manufacturers as the HTC and Apple has recently introduced fingerprint sensors in their latest flagships but these fingerprint sensors are not working well as expected and many ways found to bypass this fingerprint lock.

Its like Samsung is looking to make something special for the customers but keep in mind that all of this information is not linked to any official or reliable sources, so take it as a rumor for now.

The well known Consumer Reports reviewed the brand new iPhone 5s and 5c models think while it holds the improved processor, better camera, and new fingerprint sensor in high regard, CR states that Apple can't compare to Android devices that offer larger, sharper displays and higher-capacity batteries.

According to Consumer Reports:

"...battery life was still notably shorter than you are on other phones within our tests, including three from the latest Droids from Motorola, which ran for as long as 24 hours. Also, their small screens, while sharp and bright, can't beat the bigger, sharper displays that adorn flagship models from Samsung, LG, and HTC."

Looks like Apple will have to take another page from Android's book and abandon its fixation with more compact displays whether it hopes to stay competitive. While hauling out phablets without notice to make a phone call isn't everyone's cup of tea, the numbers don't lie. Bigger might not always be better, but Samsung has been selling more of these devices.

Angry Birds Go! The upcoming series of Angry Birds comes with a completely new style of gameplay that features the high-octane downhill racing with upgradable karts and as usual, a ton of characters with unique special powers.

That's right, Angry Birds are going karting, in a new game that will hit mobile stores on December 11.

Angry Birds Go! will be available as a free download on December 11. Rovio hasn't announced which platforms will be getting the new title, although we'll wager that both the Apple iOS and Android operating systems will have day-one access. Take a look below for the full trailer.

In the Windows Phone GDR3 feature list, support for an additional row column will be included the start screen. This resulted in a position to fit three medium-sized square tiles in one row as opposed to the limit of two today. That which was unclear until now was if this additional column is going to be for 1080p devices only or 720p or WVGA devices as well.

The news was confirmed by Joe Belfiore, VP of the Windows Phone program at Microsoft so it's as official as it gets. His tweet also mentions other UI changes the GDR3 update brings specially for 1080p smartphones. The first of them is anticipated to be the Nokia Lumia 1520, which is most likely todebut at the Nokia event in Abu Dabu on October 22.

The Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update rollout will commence in the coming weeks and will continue over several months. Microsoft can't give specific timing as it depends on the user's carrier and make contact with model.

We have heard rumors of an Amazon smartphone for more than a year now, according to Financial Times report, the retail giant uses HTC to help it make its upcoming devices. Three different smartphones have been demonstrated to be in development, according to The Financial Times article, only one of the HTC-made devices is apparently close to completion.

One source warns the paper that while one of the devices is in the advanced stages of development, Amazon has pushed back its timetable before.

Amazon has not responded to requests for discuss the report, though it stated it has "no plans to offer a phone this year". HTC's chief of promoting Ben Ho also declined to discuss the Amazon partnership, but said that the manufacture is "always exploring new opportunities".

Samsung's Galaxy S flagship line, the Galaxy S5, includes dust and water proofing, according to rumors. This is very similar to what we should already see in the Sony Xperiz Z and Xperia Z1. Samsung won't be downgrading the hardware on either device for the rugged variants, which is stark contrast towards the Galaxy S4 Active, which saw its specs diluted in exchange for a tougher and resistant build.

If this move turns out to be more than a rumor, it will likely spell the end of future versions of devices like the Galaxy S4 Active, that is essentially a ruggedized form of the current S4 flagship by having an IP67 dust and water resistance certification. It's unknown what, if any, IP-rating the S5 will feature.

This bodes well for fans of waterproof flagships differently as well, as separate waterproof versions such as the Active often featured inferior specs compared to the original.

Overall, this will be a great move for Samsung. With this in mind, they can stay ahead of Apple and then become the best in the business. This might also go hand in hand with the flexible display and so i wouldn't be surprised. Also, it would be great for users that are very sloppy with their device and drop it often, due to the fact of having stronger glass within the display. In addition, it could possibly be much more sturdy and be made of more premium materials compared to the plastic Galaxy S4.

After shown on thThe overall assessment is that 4.4 seems to be a more polished version of the Android platform than has been seen in yesteryear, with a feature set that more closely resembles iOS devices out of the box. As Google has said previously, with KitKat it's targeting the mainstream and this may be its best shot yet shot at tempting loyal iOS users to give it a go.e Nexus last week, Android 4.4 KitKat appeared all over again in a series of leaked screenshots. Now, the upcoming Android release got caught running on a Google Nexus 7.

Consistent with previous leaks, the screenshots reveal a few of the UI changes which Android 4.4 KitKat brings. They include mildly redesigned stock apps including Quickoffice integration, new inclusions in the settings menu, as well as the cool-looking Android KitKat Easter egg.

According to the source of the screenshots, the Android build captured inside them predate the official KitKat announcement. This explains the presence of a Key Lime Pie codename in them.

According to Sam Mobile, the S4 Mini La Fleur will be launched before the holiday season,  The "flowery" edition will be made available in both single and dual SIM configurations, and in the color red, though other color options might be made available later on.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini La Fleur feature Android Jelly Bean (but upgradeable to 4.4 Kit Kat), a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display, 1.9MP front facing camera, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 1,900 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is now available for downloading and we think the official one will be unveiled very soon.

It appears as though Samsung has started testing out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for its Galaxy S III smartphone. It was confirmed with a couple of leaked images, showing the handset running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

For the time being, there is no word on the changes that come with the latest firmware update for the Galaxy S III smartphones. The global rollout of the latest Android release is anticipated to begin within this month.

Sammobile

Google's latest Android release, version 4.4 KitKat, is anticipated to be available this month alongside the upcoming LG Nexus 5 so that as we are nearing the state announcement, the leaks are shown.

According to leaked image, the Android 4.4 KitKat is going to be featuring new location settings menu with a simplified layout. Renamed "location mode" the new settings entry will offer three different modes rather than the currently available multiple selectors for every location tool.

However, these are merely speculations based on the leaked image. We are not sure how real this is, you should take it as a grain of salt for now.

Samsung released another catchy video ad because of its Galaxy Note 3. A couple of days after outing an industrial with Leo Messi, the Korean giant's marketing department took another, craftier approach to showcasing the Android powerhouse.

The most recent Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ad is London-themed. It showcases S-Pen the skills of the phablet having a pop-up book and stop motion animation.

This video is on-air in Piccadilly, London.   The book is designed by David A. Carter, an American author and illustrator best know for Bugs series.

Google makes it's Search mobile app  better by adding a tip calculator to its laundry list of features.

The tip calculator can be initiated by either a voice command or typing for example "What's the tip for X dollars" and a special interface will pop up prompting you to fill in the facts of the order. To ensure that Google to come back you the exact tip amount, you'll have to input the total bill, adjust the end percentage and split the check among the people you're by helping cover their.

This will output two numbers - the first one is the tip each person has to give, and also the other will be the bill (plus tip) divided through the number of people.

This tool definitely comes handy when you are out of your friends and trying to bring up a 3rd party app to calculate tips while you can use the search app much easiler from your finger tips.

Above image is the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini for the US carriers. According to evleaks, it has revealed three new hues from the S4 mini, arriving on AT&T and Sprint networks in the US.

AT&T will be getting an extremely flashy shade of pink, or hot pink because it is often referred to. That one is bound to divide opinions but there is no shortage of people that like pink devices.

Sprint has got the more sober shades. You have the standard monochrome, or Black Mist and White Frost, as Samsung likes to call them.
Other than the colors, they are identical to the existing Galaxy S4 mini available in the US.

What do you guys think about the pink Galaxy S4 mini?

Regardless of the great the sales performance of the Galaxy flagship, Samsung continues to be not really pleased and think it could've done better. As a result, the company is pushing the Galaxy S5 release to mid-January, instead of March as was the situation this year and May as it was in 2012.

The particular market accessibility to the next Samsung flagship is tipped for February, making sense if the actual announcement is pulled for that start of the year.

So far as actual specifications from the Galaxy S5 are concerned, Samsung is anticipated to debut its 64-bitExynos 5430 chip, that will feature 8 cores with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is tipped to boast an updated 16MP camera with enhanced low-light performance and optical image stabilization. Earlier, the organization unveiled its ISOCELL image sensor, that is expected to debut around the upcoming flaghip.

Aside from the main processing unit, the report is also suggesting that the Galaxy S5 will deliver a better 16 MP camera with improved low-light capabilities and OIS. This isn't the first time we've heard that Samsung is working on a better camera, as we've previously stumbled across information suggesting that the Galaxy S4 successor could pack a 16 MP main camera that could be a spin-off on the Galaxy S4 Zoom's sensor.

Previous rumors have also suggested that the SGS5 might deliver dust and waterproof capabilities, and chances are that the device will also boast a fingerprint scanner (possibility also mentioned by this latest report).

Samsung introduced the first smartphone to come with a curved display. The Samsung Galaxy Round isn't traveling too far away as it will make its debut and launch in Korea on Thursday. Priced at 1.09 million won ($1013 USD), the device will originally be offered in Luxury Brown but other colors will be available later.

The Samsung Galaxy Round is basically a Galaxy Note 3 with a curved screen, which makes it less wide and thus probably easier to hold with one hand. Other than that, there are no benefits to the screen used, and the fact that it's ‘flexible'. Which is why Samsung is understandably only going to release the Round in South Korea. There are currently no plans for sales elsewhere, and you shouldn't expect that to change since the company still has a limited production capacity for flexible screens.

The 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen offers resolution of 1080 x 1920, and is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz processor with 3GB of RAM on board. A 2800mAh battery powers the unit which has Android 4.3 pre-installed. The handset is equipped with a 13MP rear-facing camera. While the phone has just been introduced, we could soon see major competition. Fellow Korean manufacturer LG said on Monday that its display unit is ready to release a flexible OLED panel.

The Samsung Galaxy Round will be available tomorrow in brown only, and more colors should follow at a later date. It will be priced at around $950-$1000, which is going to force it to stay niche for a long time.

T-Mobile USA is getting ready to launch a new Android smartphone made by Samsung, codenamed Garda, it not a high end smartphone according to the leak.

From the information available at the moment, we know that the Samsung Garda SGH-T399 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Reportedly, its features include a WVGA display of 4 inches size, a 1.4GHz processor which is a dual core and LTE connectivity.

Samsung Garda could be available at T-Mobile starting October 18, its final name will probably have "Galaxy" in it.

There is no word on how much T-Mobile will ask for the Samsung SGH-T399. In any case, the handset should not cost more than $350 - $400 without a contract.

Samsung is reportedly focusing on a rugged water- and dust-proof variant from the Galaxy Note 3.

According to korean's ETNews, and is also considering making the Galaxy S5 rugged and hard out of the box, similar to Sony's Xperia Z and Xperia Z1. Samsung won't be downgrading the hardware on either device for the rugged variants, that is stark contrast to the Galaxy S4 Active, which saw its specs watered down in exchange for a tougher and resistant build.

As the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could easily get a ruggedized variant, it's too early to be taking anything about the Galaxy S5 too seriously. Actually, it's best to not pay much heed to the of these rumors until something substantial turns up, though with the flexible display smartphone expected to become a reality soon, ruggedness could just be the next big feature Samsung puts its focus on.

With the Beta release of Chrome for Android rolling out today, it's now easier to create shortcuts on your homescreen to do exactly that. When visiting a website you'd like to save, simply select "Add to homescreen" in the toolbar menu.

Anytime you'd like to open the saved website, you can just tap its icon in your homescreen. For some websites, the shortcut will open inside a full-screen experience and appear as a separate app in the app switcher.

Also new is the "new tab page" the mimics the design found on desktops. Search is now present right in the middle of the tab (redundant since you could also search from the URL/search bar/Omnibox), and your most frequently visited sites appear along the bottom for quick access. The update is said to go live at some point today, and if you haven't yet, you can live on the bleeding edge and download Chrome Beta for Android via link below.

Samsung is soon to produce its first flexible display Smartphone as we earlier posted about the race of flexible displays between your Samsung and LG.As latest rumors based on our sources Samsung will not introduce Galaxy Note III using the flexible display but Samsung will release new flagship that'll be featuring a flexible display and Samsung is extremely near to reveal this product.

According to Sammobile, the unit will have a 4.7 inches of HD display having resolution of (720x1280), Quad-core CPU along with the 2GB of RAM and 8 mega-pixel of snapper with dual LED flash are coming with this Smartphone as sources say. There isn't any news about the battery so far but the device will be loaded with the Android 4.3 if this will launch.

Just rumors for now, and since previous rumors have suggested that the device could be a Galaxy Note 3 variant, there's no telling what we'll see in the final product. With the official unveiling supposedly happening next week, it won't be long before we find out what Samsung has in store for us.

There were some significant changes in the percentage of devices running the different versions of Android. Just ten months ago Android 2.3.3+ was probably the most predominant Android version by using it running on about 50% of all active Android devices.

Because the historic milestone where Android 4.1 became the predominant version of Android, Jelly Bean continues its rise and last month Android 4.1 and 4.2 had a combined 45 percent share, but Android 4.3 was missing from Google's statistics. Finally after more than two months Android 4.3 has begun to make and impact. Its current share is 1.Five percent.

Android 4.3's adoption now appears to be inline, if not better, with the adoption rate of previous releases. For example, Android 4.2 was launched in mid-November 2012 and by December 3rd 2012 it registered a 0.8 percent share and by January 3rd single.2 percent share. 4.3's 1.Five percent share seems about right.

The Android 4.x versions (including 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) now runs on over two thirds of Android devices. The data are generated by Google using data collected throughout a 7-day period ending on October 2, 2013. All Android versions over the age of Android 2.2 no longer figure in Google's numbers they do not support the new Google Play Store app, which is used as the way of measuring activity.

Gingerbread usage has become significantly within third and is heading towards getting used on a just a quarter of Android devices. The only real other versions of Android which come in Google's numbers are Android 2.2 Froyo, with a 2.2 percent share, and Honeycomb with a stubborn 0.1 percent share. Every time Google releases these numbers I expect Honeycomb to possess disappeared, but it always seems to manage a look and feel.

Samsung is planning to start its Android 4.3 rollout for that its Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 during October and upgrades already are happening for HTC One owners. This should mean that Android 4.3's share increases while Android 4.1 and 4.2 decrease. October should also see the release of Android 4.4 KitKat.

Lee Young-hee, executive v . p . for marketing in the Samsung's mobile division, stressed its first wristwatch, the Galaxy Gear, is "definitely receiving good response."

"The Galaxy Gear is a wow product. It's a wholly new and must-have accessory," said the vice president Lee, downplaying growing criticism about the wristwatch. "It only weighs 74 grams and it's super easy to receive a call or send a text."

But Samsung declined to unveil sales targets for the Gear. Lee also denied a rumor that Samsung was at the process of developing a new Galaxy Gear.

The Note3 and equipment were already announced at this year's IFA trade exhibition in Berlin, Germany. The nation's three mobile carriers will release the Note3 and equipment.

The suggested list price for the Note3 was set at 1.06 million won, while the Gear, which sports 1.63-inch display, will sell for 396,000 won without contracts.

"All functions from the Gear is going to be connected to the Galaxy S4 smartphone by next month and the connection will be expanded to Galaxy Note2 and Galaxy S3 after December," said obama.

In a related note, Samsung said it will hire more experts with proven knowledge in interface and consumer experience, a move aimed at improving the degree of experience to lead over rivals in the changing electronic devices industry.

"We've acknowledged our Gear lacks something special. With more investment for user interface and consumer experience, Samsung devices will improve in terms of customer satisfaction," said a Samsung official.

Samsung might not have figured out how to entice buyers into arranging for its phones quite yet, but the organization does seem know the buzzworthy phone when it sees one. Samsung introduced via it's United Arab Emirates Facebook and Twitter accounts each a Gold Brown as well as Gold Red Galaxy S4.

Unfortunately Samsung didn't mentiona nything about the cost, the release day, or whether the Gold Edition Galaxy S4 phones would observe an international launch. As Apple company proved over the weekend, gold-colored phones are the first to sell out, so even though the Gold Brown and Precious metal Pink phones are being launched overseas, a U.S. release might not be a bad idea. Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said it will introduce a smartphone having a curved display in October, as the world's top handset maker seeks to create the pace of hardware innovation and keep its supremacy inside a fiercely competitive business.

Curved displays are an early stage in screen evolution which is shifting to bendable or foldable designs, eventually allowing mobile and wearable gadgets to take on new forms that may radically alter the high-end smartphone market.

"We intend to introduce a smartphone with a curved display in Columbia in October," Samsung's mobile business head of strategic marketing D.J. Lee said on Wednesday in an event launching the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone in Seoul.

In January Samsung, that has taken over from Apple Inc as the global smartphone leader, displayed prototype products with a flexible screen and a display that extends from the side of the device.

But technology firms have yet to figure out how to mass produce the parts cheaply and come up with display panels that can be as thin like a sheet and highly heat resistant.

Curved display has already been commercially available in large-screen televisions. Samsung and it is home rival LG Electronics Inc had started selling curved OLED TV sets this year priced at about $9,000.

Samsung has beaten rival Apple in creating a smartphone with a curved screen. Apple filed for a patent on a device having a wraparound display in March, but nothing has come of those plans by yet. Samsung, however, announced Wednesday that it has created a tool with a curved screen, which is unveiled later this fall.

"We plan to introduce a smartphone having a curved display in South Korea in October," Samsung's mobile business head of strategic marketing, D.J. Lee, said Wednesday in an event launching the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone in Seoul, according to Reuters.

Curved displays are the initial step toward creating bendable screens, which may be groundbreaking for smartphones and wearable tech, eliminating be worried about screen cracks and allowing for an array of new shapes. Samsung already has some knowledge about the technology, because it makes curved OLED televisions. Those Televisions cost around $9,000, Reuters reports, which leaves some uncertainty about if the technology can be achieved cheaply enough to create devices that employ it affordable.

Apple Insider reported around the wraparound screen patent Apple declared back in March. The proposed device's screen wraps completely around the phone and would use face recognition to determine which direction a user is viewing the screen. The unit would basically be one silver screen, using gestures instead of buttons to do various functions. Apple Insider also reported that the display would make the creation of 3-D imagery easier, these types of its seamless design, the unit would be more great looking than current smartphones.

The smartphone market will only grow more competitive because it reaches its saturation point, and Samsung knows it must innovate if the company is to keep its add Apple. One key area by which Samsung has beaten Apple is emerging markets, particularly in Asia.

Samsung offers cheap devices running on Google's Android platform that have shown great appeal in emerging markets, where consumers usually have to pay top dollar for devices. But with the release of two new iPhones last week, new research is speculating that Apple will gain lost ground in emerging markets quickly because of the unexpectedly high price of the iPhone 5C.

Now the big questions Samsung faces using the introduction of curved screens are if users will respond well to this type of radical alternation in the shape of the smartphones, and when the technology can be achieved cheaply enough to help make the devices utilizing it accessible.

Samsung Electronics announced its new sophisticated pixel technology with regard to CMOS image devices, ISOCELL. This new technology substantially increases light sensitivity and effectively regulates the absorption of electrons, leading to higher colour fidelity even just in poor lighting conditions. ISOCELL improves the image quality and enhances the user experience of premium smartphones as well as tablets which integrate sensors with this exciting new technologies.

"Through advances within pixel and procedure technology, smart phone and pill cameras have made it easier than ever for customers to capture and share beautiful, clear pictures with the world. ISOCELL technology is another innovation which significantly raises the bar in picture quality, and shows Samsung's technology leadership in image sensors with regard to mobile devices."

The caliber of an image sensing unit is determined by the quantity of light that is accurately captured by the person pixels within the sensor variety. With the market pressure to increase camera quality and picture quality, without expanding the camera dimension, the pixels have had to shrink, while improving their overall performance at the same time - a challenging job.

To meet this concern, previous sensor technology advancements focused on increasing the light assimilation of each pixel, and have progressed pixel technology from FSI (Entrance Side Lighting) to BSI (Back again Side Illumination) which places photodiode at the top to maximise photoelectric efficiency. While being extremely effective at the time, this BSI technology also faced limitations in improving image quality because pixel sizes continued to decrease.

Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile are taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, this leaving Sprint the only major US carrier that doesn't do that. However, it appears as though Sprint will start selling the Note 3 at approximately the same time with the other three mobile operators anyway.

Based on IBTimes, Sprint will launch the brand new Note on October 2 - the same day when the system is expected to be in stock at T-Mobile. AT&T should provide the Note 3 starting October 2, while Verizon expects to produce it a bit later - on October 10. Like Verizon and AT&T, Sprint will most likely ask $299.99 (on contract) for the new Note. Most likely, the third largest US carrier will have two color versions of the device: black and white.

Introduced by Samsung earlier this year as the successor towards the popular Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2, the Note 3 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and features: a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, S Pen stylus, LTE connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 2160p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, and a 3,200 mAh battery.

The next version of Android is going to be 4.4 KitKat, and because of that trademarked name, Google has partnered with Nestle to get the word out around. If you were wondering just when you should expect the next release to hit Nexus devices, Nestle may have just outed the time-frame.

Next month happens when Android 4.4 should be out and about already, according to an employee from Nestle's German arm. Responding to a customer's inquiry on Facebook, she or he said, simply, that the KitKat version of the OS will be available in October.
Android 4.4 KitKat

This comes to ‘confirm' previous rumors that spoke of the October 14 unveiling for that LG Nexus 5 plus the new software bits. Obviously, that date could still change, but at this point it is looking increasingly clear that October would be the month of KitKat. Or something like that.

Finally though, keep in mind the possibility that this particular Nestle employee was just employing a little bit of wishful thinking, and doesn't really have any insider information on the release date of the OS.

Following the appearance of a Galaxy S3 running on Android 4.3 (which is most likely an imitation), a screenshot showing the new version of Android running with an octa-core Galaxy S4 has surfaced online. The firmware version is XXUBMA8, one which we haven't seen before (though it's quite much like XXUBMF8), but that's about all the details that can be gleaned in the screenshot.

The Android 4.3 update is expected to add a few features from the Galaxy Note 3, along with standard 4.3 features such as improved performance and security, OpenGL 3.0 support, always-on Wi-Fi scanning for location reporting, and more. Samsung has promised to produce the update in October, so it won't be long before we find out what Android 4.3 gives millions of Galaxy S4 owners.

A few hours ago Rovio released the Angry Birds Star Wars II into the Android's Play Store, Apple's AppStore and Windows Phone Store.  Angry Birds Star Wars II covers the era of the The exorcist prequel trilogy (Episode I, II and III), therefore the nostalgic fever we felt in the first game is now gone.

In Angry Birds The Star Wars II you are able to play either around the Birds side of join the Pork side. The game mechanics are kept pretty much the same as in the first game, though Rovio features some new elements like the real-life Telepods. These are real toys made by Hasbro, which once purchased in real life, are available always that you should throw in the sport.

You don't have to buy those toys in order to play with their characters, of course. You can unlock them hanging around with earned (or bought) tokens and you can use them a limited number of times. You may also opt to buy a character permanent use option in-game, however it will cost you a great deal.

Anyway, if you're a regular gamer who loves to play Angry Birds occasionally, then you don't have to buy anything except the sport itself. So if you're on Android, you can download it here.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the latest flagship from the Korean firm. There are going to have four different versions in the Chinese market - Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9006, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9002, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9008 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9009. It does sound confusing due to the complexity of the numbers.

The leaked photos reveal that the dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 800 chipset, featuring four 2.3GHz Krat 400 cores and the Adreno 330 GPU. The beast was even subjected to an AnTuTu benchmark and the score came at the pretty impressive 31,276. That's still a bit short of the score of the regular Galaxy Note 3, but since neither version has its firmware finalized just yet, it's too early to draw any conclusions.

Besides the second SIM slot the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9002 should have no differences to the international Galaxy Note 3 version, carrying the same 5.7" 1080p screen, 13MP camera and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It's unclear if it will be leaving the China borders, though.

A Samsung Electronics executive said Wednesday the firm will expand its smartphone business in China to better compete with Apple in the world's largest smartphone market.

"Samsung understands that Apple intends to boost its mobile business in China, as well as in Japan, meaning that we should try harder in these countries," Samsung's mobile business chief Shin Jong-kyun said.

This announcement follows hot on the heels of Apple's recent event that brought us the iPhone 5S with a 64-bit CPU. But while Apple did optimize the iOS 7 for 64-bit processors, Android OS is yet to support such thing.

The 64-bit CPUs are a must-have for devices with 4GB or more RAM and there is a chance Android 4.4 KitKat brings 64-bit support. There is also a probability Samsung unveils a flagship with 4GB of RAM next year, since the Note 3 already has 3GB.

Jimmy Kimmel's show likes to humor the ordinary user's ignorance from time to time and show it for everyone to see. Just like the show did last year when the iPhone 5 was unveiled - asking people on the street if they like the new iPhone when they actually got to try an iPhone 4.

This year Jimmy Kimmel's show decided to step things up and inquired people how they feel about the iPhone 5s while handing them an, wait for it, iPad mini.

If these people really are random people off of the street, and not paid actors, we can understand not being aware of what would set apart the new iPhone from the last, but to believe that an iPad mini is an iPhone takes a special kind of ignorance about technology.
